What thickness of material can you cut?

The maximum thickness of materials we can cut are:

Acrylic – Up to 10mm thickness
Birch Plywood – Up to 8mm in thickness
MDF – Up to 8mm in thickness
Mylar – Up to 500 micron
Others – please contact us for other materials.

What is the maximum material size?

Our laser machines have a maximum cutting bed of 900 x 600mm.
We can however cut larger materials by passing these through the machine – if you have a larger size you wish to have cut please just contact us for more information.

Can I supply my own materials?

You can indeed – we do have a wide range of materials but you can supply your own at no extra charge.

What is your turnaround time?

Our average turnaround times are as follows:

Quotes – response within 24 hours
Rapid Fabrication – We offer a rapid fabrication service – with approved designs completed within a few hours. Please contact us for more information.
Normal Fabrication: We’ll work with you to do it as quickly as we can per your own deadlines and in line with our own workloads.

 

 

What filetypes do you accept?

We accept a wide variety of file-types and have the Adobe and Corel suite of applications.

We can accept:
.cdr
.psd
.pdf
.svg
.eps
.ai
.jpg
.bmp
.png
.dxf
.dwg

And many more! If you’re unsure – just get in touch

Can you cut metal?

We unfortunately cannot cut any type of metal.

What machines do you have?

The LS6090 is our most used laser machine due to its high power wattage laser tube and large bed size – so good – we got two!
